Educational Resources

The National Science Digital Library is the nation's online library for education and research in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. This is a great resource for students and teachers alike. The HPC University (HPCU) is a virtual organization whose primary goal is to provide an online environment to share educational and training materials in high performance computing topics. The Computational Science Education Reference Desk (CSERD) is a Pathways portal of the National Science Digital Library, funded by the National Science Foundation. CSERD aims help students learn about computational science and help faculty and teachers incorporate computational science into the classroom.
SHODOR is a nonprofit organization serving students and educators by providing materials and instruction relating to computational science (scientific, interactive computing). The Cyberinfrastructure Tutor (CI-Tutor) is an online training environment aimed at the high performance computing community and is hosted by the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Virtual School of Computational Science and Engineering (VSCSE) is is a national virtual organization whose goal is to develop and deliver a computational science curriculum that accelerates the ability of faculty, staff, and students to use emerging computational resources to advance science and engineering.
